  Saturday, July 24, 2010 - Decanted for 1 hour. I've got lots of expresso notes along with sweet figs, coconut and hints of oak. On the palate, it has a sweet attack, smooth texture with nice tannins and medium aftertaste. Its sweeteness started to become more evident as the bottle remained open. I don't think it paired well with the French Entrecote, for which I assume the entire responsibility....the wine is good...that was my mistake. Recommended!

  Friday, January 22, 2010 - We have really enjoyed this wine over the past several years and is holding up well. Paired very nicely with turkey lasagna. Lasted for 3 nights after opening.
