Saturday, May 01, 2010 - Pale in color with shades of yellow and green. Strong aromatics exposing it's NZ background. White pepper, lemon peel, green apple, and very zesty. Medium body with a luscious mouth feel. High acidity balanced by layers of abundant fruit. Jolly rancher green apple and lemon drops predominate this profile leading to grapefruit peel white flowers and pepper. This finish is long and tasty. I'm really diggin' this wine.

Sunday, February 28, 2010 - Herbaceous nose with citrus accents, which continues over to the palate which is filled with some green notes, citrus, grapefruit in particular, and a finish of oyster shells. I found the wine to be thin, however, and only the cheese that I ate with it lended a bit of much needed body. Overall, there's nothing particularly wrong with it, it's just boring.

Monday, January 25, 2010 - Pale straw color. Freshly cut grass and a bit of grapefruit on the nose. Palate is very grassy and herbal, with a hint of citrus and under-ripe peaches. Short-medium length crisp finish. All in all, just too grassy for my taste. I was missing the grapefruit.

Wednesday, December 03, 2008 - Classic NZ SB, if a tad monodimensional. Lots of grass, herbaceous and citrus aromas and flavors. Slightly floral notes at times. A bit assertive, but if that's what you like this is excellent value.

Monday, September 08, 2008 - First '08 white I've had. For me, typical NZ Sauv Blanc. Citrus aromatics with pink grapefruit and pineapple, gooseberry, touch grassy. Palate is crisp, clean, refreshing with more citrus, orange peel.
